Our family business WM Travel service was founded in 1988 by Georg Gollombeck. In his "Wartburg 353 Tourist" the very first customers were safely taken to their destinations. What started as a part-time job soon became a mission- on May,1,1990 the taxi company was founded and two years later the first drivers started working full-time.
Regarding the company's future we initiated a Civil Code company and today's "Junior boss" Nico Gollombeck was accepted as shareholder. Our company grew and in 1996 it was the first to run a large capacity taxi in Schwerin. As the company grew, so did the variety of services. In 1995 we installed fixed student-tours and since December 2003 we are licensed for cross-border conveyance of passengers and goods.
To show our customers that we offer more than taxi rides, we renamed the company "WM Travel service, Taxi, Bus for rent, Shuttle" in 2003. Since 2004 our services include bus transportation and coaches for rent. Today our taxi company employs 31 people.
